Quality Control Manager
JOB OBJECTIVES:
1.Provide Quality Control service for products manufactured on the factory site and subsequent support to the business units.
2.Operate the QC lab and logistics in compliance with HSE requirements
3.Initiate customer complaints investigation
4.Lead site activities for ISO audit and compliance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Management:
1.1 Arrange and monitor QC lab's daily work according to production schedule, and fulfill the requirements of product and raw material specification.
1.2 Prepare annual budgets for the QC lab and monitor and control costs within the budget
1.3 Monitor the actions of SAP release of raw materials and finished goods, issuing COA for delivered finished goods, and prepare QDR for any off-specification goods 1.4 Prepare and update operation manual of QC lab
1.5 Prepare test methods for new RM's or product launching
1.6 During the site start-up, take responsibility for setting up the Quality Laboratories and the Logistics function for the site
2. Safety, Healthy and Environment: Follow relevant company and legal HSE regulations; instruct and monitor HSE activities within the QC lab area; Follow 5S guideline, and maintain good housekeeping in QC lab areas; provide analytical testing for waste water outflows from the plants. 3. ISO Audits: Lead the site activities for ISO audit; coordinate and participate in preparation of documents for safety, environmental protection (ISO 14001) and quality control (ISO 9001) audits 4. Customer Complaints and product stewardship: Initiate customer complaints investigation; As a product stewardship coordinator, liaise with product safety colleagues to prepare MSDS of the products and RM's used in CNNJ and provide the relevant training to colleagues
5. Personnel Development: Assess personnel capabilities and make subsequent proposals to site manager for development plans; Initiate training and education programs for QC staff according to their needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: Bachelor degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
2. Working Experience: at least 5 years working experience in quality control; experience of working with logistics would also be beneficial.
3. Technical and professional knowledge: Quality control experience, Understanding of Supply Chains, good written and spoken English, pc skills, SAP knowledge
